Decorative Round Wood Hanging Home Sign

Hi everyone, happy August! I hope you are well. I've started my countdown to Autumn. I'm honestly ready for that Autumn breeze. Until then, I will continue to bring you all some of my favorite creations. Today we're creating a fun decorative round hanging sign. I picked up my round plywood sign from my local Dollar Tree, and I figured I'd create a quick, and simple hanging sign.

Video Tutorial

Materials

One round plywood hanging décor

One bow-or ribbon to create your bow

Paint- I'm using two colors. Mineral, and chocolate bar

Scissors

One ruler

Hot glue

One home wood decoration

One pencil

Twine

Greenery

Begin by taking your ruler, and placing it in the middle of your wood decoration. We are just creating two sections on our round wood decoration. Take your pencil, and draw a straight line across. You will end up with two sections on your wood piece.

Next, take your paint, and begin to apply your paint to one section. I used a smaller paintbrush when applying my paint near the line. I also used a blow dryer when drying my paint.

After you have applied your first paint color, take your second paint color, and add it to the other section of your wood. Repeat the previous steps.

Using scissors cut a medium section of twine. Apply a thin layer of hot glue over your line. Add your twine over the line in the middle of your wood circle.

Take your hot glue, and apply a small amount onto the back of your home wood decoration. I added my home word décor on the bottom section of my sign.

Now you are ready to add your greenery. I added three small sections of greenery. Apply a little hot glue onto each one, and add them around your home wood décor.

If you have a bow, take your bow, and add it to the top section of your sign. I created a simple bow using some ribbon I had on hand.

Your wood-hanging sign is now complete, and ready to display. I hung my sign-up on my front door, and I absolutely love how it turned out.

Thank you so much for stopping by, and creating with me. I'll see you soon.

A Touch of Spring: Faux Rose & Wildflower Beaded Wreath Tutorial

Today I’m sharing a soft and delicate spring wreath that comes together beautifully with just a few simple supplies. I’m using a beaded wood wreath as my base, along with faux yellow roses, pink artificial wildflowers, and a bit of foliage to bring everything to life. This project is perfect if you’re looking to add a gentle pop of color and a touch of spring charm to your home. Video tutorial  Supplies You’ll Need Beaded wood wreath Faux yellow roses Pink artificial wildflowers Faux foliage Floral/wire cutters Craft wire Trim Your Florals I started by using my floral cutters to trim the stems of each flower. Make sure the stems are short enough to fit nicely against the wreath, but long enough to secure them with wire. Adjust the length to suit your design and the level of fullness you want in your wreath. I began by cutting my yellow roses first. Prepare Your Craft Wire and  Attach the Roses After I trimmed the roses, I cut small sections of craft wire. These will be u...

My goal was to design something warm and inviting, as our table is a space where we share conversations, drink coffee, tackle homework, and simply enjoy each other’s company.  I typically don’t go all out when decorating my dining table, but I wanted to show you how I styled it using decor pieces I already had.
