Easy DIY Dollar Tree Wood House Decoration

Today, we are going to make a simple DIY tree wood house decoration. This craft is super easy and should take around 10 minutes to complete. To make this, we will need a wood house plaque and craft hearts which can be purchased from a Dollar Tree store. I already had all the other materials on hand, so I only spent about three dollars on this craft. However, if you need to purchase all the materials from Dollar Tree, then you will need to spend around $8. So, let's get started with creating our wood house decorations!

Applying paint to the wooden house

Begin by applying paint to your wooden house. I applied paint to completely cover the wooden house. You will need around two coats of paint.  Once you have applied your paint,  allow your wood house to dry.

Once you have allowed it to dry, take your twine, and begin to wrap the twine around the bottom portion of your wooden house. Tie a small knot, and continue to wrap your twine around the bottom section.

Once you get to the end of your twine, take your scissors, and cut any remaining twine off. Use your hot glue, and glue down the end of your twine.

Take your hot glue, and apply a small amount on the back side of your craft heart. Take the craft heart, and gently press it down onto your wood house.

Cut your floral to the desired size. You can add the floral before adding the twine or wrap the twine over the stems of your flowers. Once you have added the flowers, the bottom of your wood house should be filled with beautiful flowers.

Once you have finished creating your wooden house decoration, you should look for an appropriate spot to display your creation. I suggest adding it to a tray, displaying it on a shelf, or even placing it on an entry table.

I hope that you enjoyed this quick and simple DIY craft. Please let me know if you decide to create your own. I'll be looking forward to hearing from you soon!

Celebrate in Style: DIY Patriotic Napkin Rings

Hey everyone! I hope you're doing well. Today, I want to share an easy DIY project. We're going to make patriotic napkin rings using just a few materials. I usually find extra craft supplies in my craft bins because I often shop craft sales at the stores. I got the wooden stars and rings from my local Hobby Lobby store. The great thing about this project is that it's easy and quick. I'll provide you with a materials list and a step-by-step tutorial. Video tutorial Celebrate in Style: DIY Patriotic Napkin Rings Materials Acrylic paint  Gem strips (I'm using the gem strips from Dollar Tree)  E6000 or hot glue  Paintbrush  Wooden stars  Wood rings size 1.89in (4.8cm) Start by painting each of your wooden rings and stars. Before adding the gem strips, attach each star to a wo...

Crafting Chic Fabric Bowls: Stylish Storage Made Simple!

If you're anything like me, you love reusing fabric, whether it's fabric squares or scraps. You probably have a collection of fabric just waiting to be transformed into something beautiful. Today, we're going to turn those scraps into charming fabric bowls. These bowls are   perfect for holding jewelry, craft supplies, or simply adding a splash of color to your space. This project is straightforward to complete and offers significant rewards, making it an excellent way to repurpose leftover materials. Video tutorial Materials Needed: 1 large glass jar 1 small glass jar Plastic wrap or plastic cling (I used cling wrap because it stays in place). Cover it with plastic wrap—cling wrap hugs the jar nicely and keeps things from slipping while you work. 2. Prepping Your Fabric Cut y...
