Easy DIY Dollar Tree Wood House Decoration

Today, we are going to make a simple DIY tree wood house decoration. This craft is super easy and should take around 10 minutes to complete. To make this, we will need a wood house plaque and craft hearts which can be purchased from a Dollar Tree store. I already had all the other materials on hand, so I only spent about three dollars on this craft. However, if you need to purchase all the materials from Dollar Tree, then you will need to spend around $8. So, let's get started with creating our wood house decorations!

Applying paint to the wooden house

Begin by applying paint to your wooden house. I applied paint to completely cover the wooden house. You will need around two coats of paint.  Once you have applied your paint,  allow your wood house to dry.

Once you have allowed it to dry, take your twine, and begin to wrap the twine around the bottom portion of your wooden house. Tie a small knot, and continue to wrap your twine around the bottom section.

Once you get to the end of your twine, take your scissors, and cut any remaining twine off. Use your hot glue, and glue down the end of your twine.

Take your hot glue, and apply a small amount on the back side of your craft heart. Take the craft heart, and gently press it down onto your wood house.

Cut your floral to the desired size. You can add the floral before adding the twine or wrap the twine over the stems of your flowers. Once you have added the flowers, the bottom of your wood house should be filled with beautiful flowers.

Once you have finished creating your wooden house decoration, you should look for an appropriate spot to display your creation. I suggest adding it to a tray, displaying it on a shelf, or even placing it on an entry table.

I hope that you enjoyed this quick and simple DIY craft. Please let me know if you decide to create your own. I'll be looking forward to hearing from you soon!

A Touch of Spring: Faux Rose & Wildflower Beaded Wreath Tutorial

Today I’m sharing a soft and delicate spring wreath that comes together beautifully with just a few simple supplies. I’m using a beaded wood wreath as my base, along with faux yellow roses, pink artificial wildflowers, and a bit of foliage to bring everything to life. This project is perfect if you’re looking to add a gentle pop of color and a touch of spring charm to your home. Video tutorial  Supplies You’ll Need Beaded wood wreath Faux yellow roses Pink artificial wildflowers Faux foliage Floral/wire cutters Craft wire Trim Your Florals I started by using my floral cutters to trim the stems of each flower. Adjust the length to suit your design and the level of fullness you want in your wreath. I began by cutting my yellow roses first. Prepare Your Craft Wire and  Attach the Roses After I trimmed the roses, I cut small sections of craft wire. These will be u...

In this tutorial, I will guide you through the process of creating your blossom branch tree. Alternatively, you can use a smaller section of a tree branch or one similar to the one I am using. So, if you're ready to start, come along and create your blossom branch tree with me.
