Dollar Tree Wall Décor Upgrade

Hi everyone! I hope all is well, and that your week is going by smoothly. Today I'm working on a simple Dollar Tree wall décor upgrade. I purchased a wall decoration at my local Dollar Tree, and I have decided to include a shelf in my new design. I am using the wood tumbling blocks for the shelf, and I'm also going to reuse the succulent pots that I purchased from Dollar Tree. I'd love it if you created it with me.

Video tutorial

 Materials

One wall decoration- I purchased this at my local Dollar Tree

Tumbling blocks- You will need nine blocks

Two small pots- I'm reusing Dollar Tree succulent pots

Paint

One small wooden circle

One pop-up sticker

Faux floral

Hot glue

Paintbrush

Floral cutters

Optional-One small screwdriver, I found that you can also tear off the front design since it is cardboard.

Start by removing the front design on your wall decoration. I used a screwdriver for this but found that I could also remove the design just by tearing it off.

Next, take your small wooden circle, and apply your paint. I am using a color called celery for my wooden circle. I applied around two coats of paint and used my blow dryer to dry between coats.

After, take your wooden circle, and glue it onto your wall decoration.

After, take your pop-up sticker, and apply it to your wooden circle. There is already a sticky backing to the sticker, but I decided to add some hot glue. I normally do this just to give it an extra hold.

Next, take your tumbling blocks and begin to apply paint to them. I am using a total of nine blocks to build my shelf. I applied paint to just the top and bottom sides of my blocks. After assembling the blocks you will apply the rest of the paint.

Begin to assemble your blocks. Take three blocks, and glue them together. This will create a row of three blocks. After, take each row of blocks, and glue all of them together.

Now you are ready to add your wood shelf to your wall décor.

You are now ready to cut your flowers, and add them to your pots. After adding your floral, take each pot, apply hot glue onto the bottom side of each, and add it to your shelf.

Your wall décor upgrade is now complete. I love how adding a simple shelf with pots, and flowers really took this design to the next level. I love hearing from all of you. Let me know what you think! Thank you so much for creating with me. I'll see you soon.

With a little creativity, they transformed into charming, lightweight accents that add a pop of color and personality to the fridge. Each lid features its own tiny arrangement—part succulent and part floral—all crafted with intention and charm. This project is easy and budget-friendly, allowing you to use items you already have while adding a lovely touch to your home. Quick Video Tutorial Materials Metal jar lids (one large, one small) Letter beads (to spell LOVE ) Faux moss Faux succulents Faux vines Faux flowers (pink, green foliage, white accents) Hot glue gun and glue sticks Magnets I began with the larger metal lid, attaching small letter beads to spell out LOVE . This created a meaningful little focal point and set the tone for the rest of the design. Next, I glued a layer of faux moss along the bottom of the lid. The moss added softness and helped anchor the colorful...

Transforming a Dollar Tree Metal Home Sign with Paint

Hello, blogging friends! Today, I’m excited to share an easy makeover I did using a “HOME” sign from Dollar Tree. This project is simple, but the transformation feels soft, warm, and inviting—just the kind of piece that quietly brightens a space. The sign began as plain and flat, but after a few gentle coats of paint, it became something charming and full of personality. Video tutorial  Materials Dollar Tree metal HOME sign (Crafter’s Square) Black FolkArt Matte Acrylic Paint Light green Craft Smart Matte Acrylic Paint Coral Craft Smart Matte Acrylic Paint Light pink paint Dark green Paintbrushes (flat and detail brushes) I started by applying a black base coat to the entire sign. Using a small, pointed-tip brush, I carefully reached all the tiny areas around the leaves and buds. I applied three coats of black paint, drying each layer with my heat tool. This step creates a clean, even surface and helps the top colors stand out beautifully. Next, I used a light green paint t...
