Hello everyone! Today we're creating a mini Christmas village display. I've been having a lot of fun creating my crafts using scrap wood pieces around my home. My husband has taken a few wood fence pickets that were no longer in use and cut them down to several different sizes. I've been using them in several of my crafts. If you have any scrap wood pieces lying around, this craft is perfect for you. The mini wood houses were purchased at Michael's. I believe they were $1.99 each.

Here's a list of what you will need
Scrap wood
Three wooden homes
- Depending on the size of your scrap wood, you can use as many as you would like, but I went with three.
Christmas faux greenery, berries, and pinecones
Paint
Faux snow
Paintbrush
Hot glue
Optional- Any Christmas stickers
Start by applying your paint onto your scrap wood section. I decided to apply white paint to my scrap wood. I applied the paint onto the top, and four sections around my scrap wood.
Next, begin to apply your paint to your wooden homes.
I painted two of the homes a green color and went with red for the third house.
Now you are ready to glue your houses onto your scrap wood section.
Add your hot glue onto the bottom of each house, and add it onto your scrap wood board.
After adding on your houses, take your faux snow and begin to add that around your scrap board. I added some hot glue and sprinkled the faux snow top. After adding my snow, I added my greenery, berries, and pinecones around the snow.
I decided to add three of my Christmas stickers to each of the houses. I love how it turned out! Such a simple way to display your wooden homes. I also added a few of my twinkling lights.
Be sure to let me know if you create your very own mini Christmas village. Thank you so much for stopping by and creating with me.
