Create a Floral Hoop Centerpiece for Valentine’s Day

Materials for floral hoop centerpiece

Materials
- One wooden hoop wreath ring
(You could also use an embroidery hoop)
- One candle holder (you can use metal or wood)
- Wooden heart embellishments
- Artificial flowers
- Craft moss
- Birdhouse embellishment
- Optional: heating tool (needed if applying paint)
- Hot glue
- Floral cutters

Wooden hoop, moss, birdhouse, and hot glue

Step 1: Attach the hoop to the candleholder.

All the materials I used for this project were things I already had on hand. Therefore, I didn't need to apply paint to the wooden ring, as I had previously stained it for another project. I began by attaching the ring to the candle holder. Although I preferred to use a wooden candle holder, I wanted to see what I could create with the materials I already had available.

Step 2: Attach the embellishments and moss.

To attach the ring, I used hot glue. After securing the ring, I added the craft moss using hot glue.

After adding the moss, I added the birdhouse embellishment.

Step 3: Adding Floral and Wooden Hearts.

I decided to add wooden hearts and floral elements to my design. First, I pre-cut the flowers to prepare them for attachment. Although the wooden hearts I’m using have a sticky backing, I decided to use hot glue for extra security to ensure they stay in place.
