Create a Floral Hoop Centerpiece for Valentine’s Day

Materials for floral hoop centerpiece

Materials
- One wooden hoop wreath ring
(You could also use an embroidery hoop)
- One candle holder (you can use metal or wood)
- Wooden heart embellishments
- Artificial flowers
- Craft moss
- Birdhouse embellishment
- Optional: heating tool (needed if applying paint)
- Hot glue
- Floral cutters

Wooden hoop, moss, birdhouse, and hot glue

Step 1: Attach the hoop to the candleholder.

All the materials I used for this project were things I already had on hand. Therefore, I didn't need to apply paint to the wooden ring, as I had previously stained it for another project. I began by attaching the ring to the candle holder. Although I preferred to use a wooden candle holder, I wanted to see what I could create with the materials I already had available.

Step 2: Attach the embellishments and moss.

To attach the ring, I used hot glue. After securing the ring, I added the craft moss using hot glue.

After adding the moss, I added the birdhouse embellishment.

Step 3: Adding Floral and Wooden Hearts.

I decided to add wooden hearts and floral elements to my design. First, I pre-cut the flowers to prepare them for attachment. Although the wooden hearts I’m using have a sticky backing, I decided to use hot glue for extra security to ensure they stay in place.

Easy Breezy DIY: How To Make Summer Coasters

Happy Summer! I'm excited to share this simple DIY craft with you. I found some cute summery napkins at my local Dollar Tree and knew I wanted to create another summer craft, but I wasn't sure what I wanted to create. Today I will show you how to create these simple summer coasters that are perfect for the season. Video tutorial Easy Breezy DIY: How To Make Summer Coasters Materials: - Round wood circles - Napkins - Mod Podge (I'm using the dishwasher-safe one) - Acrylic paint - Paintbrush - One cork sheet (I'm using the adhesive cork sheet from Dollar Tree) Begin by taking your adhesive cork sheet and flipping it over so that the adhesive backing is facing up. Next, take a pencil and start to trace each of your round wooden circles. Then, take your scissors and cut out each of the traced circles. You can use a craft knife to make any necessary adjustments.  After that, take your circles and begin to remove the back of each of the cork circles exposing the sticky backin...

How I Refreshed an Old Garden Statue with Paint (Easy Patio DIY)

This charming toad perched on his toadstool has been a beloved part of our patio for years, enduring the passage of time while gradually succumbing to the effects of sun and weather. With each season, he has faded a little more, losing some of his vibrant colors and details. Rather than allowing him to blend into the background and become just another forgotten decoration, I decided it was time to breathe new life into him.  I shared the whole process in a quick YouTube Shorts video called “Watch Me Refresh This Old Garden Statue.” It’s a simple before‑and‑after, but such a satisfying one.  Materials I Used Garden statue (mine is a toad on a toadstool) Sandpaper Acrylic paints Small detail brushes Mod Podge (for sealing and protection) Sanding and Painting I began by gently sanding the statue to smooth out the chipped and faded paint. It only takes a few minutes, but it makes such a difference. Once the surface felt ready, I brought out my acrylic paints and started...
