Transform Dollar Tree Items into a Handy Memo Board

 Hi everyone! Let's get ready to create a quick and easy Memo board. I'm ready to get things organized and stay on top of my daily tasks, and with this quick and easy memo board, you can do just that! I purchased this tin framed board a few months back and stored it away. I was wondering what I wanted to create using it. I saw a picture on the package showing it being used as a memo board, and I decided that was an excellent idea. This is perfect for those who still like this way of keeping track of your daily tasks, or just want a board for quick reminders. I will take you through this quick and easy process as we create a memo board.

Note: This is a fun craft for those who want to display notes and reminders creatively. While it’s easy to add messages and reminders on a phone, this method allows for a unique way to showcase your notes. Remember have fun and be creative!

Materials

-One tin-framed board

-Stickers (we're going to add magnet buttons to the back of them)

-Rub on transfers (I had these in my craft stash, but you can find them at Dollar Tree)

-Paint (I'm using a multi-surface paint)

-Ruler is optional

-Paintbrush

-Twine or craft string

-Craft clothespins

-Paint marker

-Hot glue/Adhesive

-Magnet buttons

-Scissors

Begin by applying paint to the top section of the tin board. I used a ruler as a guide while adding the paint.

Take your scissors and cut out the rub-on transfers. I found some in my craft bin and decided to use them instead of making my own lettering with my Cricut Maker. Once you have cut out the letters, use a rub-on tool to transfer the lettering or design onto the board.

Next, use a paint marker to label the days of the week on your board.

Using hot glue, attach the craft clothespins to the board. I placed a pin under each day of the week.

I found these cute stickers featuring adorable sloths at my local Dollar Tree, and I couldn't resist using them. Before adding the sloths to my tin board, I decided to attach magnetic buttons to two of the stickers. I used hot glue to secure the buttons to the back of each sticker.

Lastly, use scissors to cut a section of your twine or craft string to add to the back of the board. I used hot glue to attach the string.
