DIY Floral Print Halloween Tabletop Décor

Hello everyone! Thank you for stopping by. Today, I want to share a quick tutorial on creating a floral print Halloween tabletop decoration. I found a lovely floral print while shopping at my local Hobby Lobby, and after going through my Halloween supply, I came up with this quick craft idea. Last year, I bought a wooden Halloween ghost decoration for two dollars, but I still needed to paint it. I decided to create this simple design, and I would love it if you would join me in making one too!

Materials for tabletop Halloween Decor

Materials:

- One wooden Halloween ghost decoration (Any round Halloween wood decor will work)

- Floral print or any napkin design of your choice

- Hot glue

- One wooden block or other wooden object to use for propping the decor

- One wooden square section (I'm reusing scrap wood that I had on hand)

- Scissors

- Craft letters (I'm using gold foam letters)

- Acrylic paint (I'm using black, pink, and white)

Halloween decoration, black paint, and paintbrush

To start, apply black acrylic paint to the Halloween decoration as a background.

Next, apply the napkin and Mod Podge. Start by removing the second layer of the napkin. Use scissors to cut out the floral sections you want to use in your design.

Using a smaller paintbrush, begin to apply Mod Podge to the Halloween decoration. Place the napkin pieces over the Mod Podge and apply Mod Podge over each section before drying.

I decided to mix my white and pink paint colors before painting each of the ghosts.

Wooden square, paintbrush, and acrylic paint

Now, paint the wooden square using a paintbrush to apply black paint.

Wooden mini pot and wooden square

For propping the Halloween decoration, I'm using a mini wooden pot. You can use a small block as well. I did not paint my pot, but you can apply paint to it so that it blends in better.
Attach the pot to the wooden square using hot glue. Then, apply hot glue to the front side of the pot before attaching your Halloween decoration to it.

Finally, take your letters and use hot glue to attach them to the wooden square section. This completes your floral print Halloween tabletop decor. I hope you enjoy this simple and easy craft project!
