Create a simple farmhouse decoration using one house plaque from Dollar Tree

Happy summer, everyone! How are you all doing? I hope all is well. I recently checked the extended weather report, and we will see warmer days for a bit. There has been a lot of rain, flooding, and hail. Other than the weather, life is good and I hope the same goes for you. Are you ready to create a simple decoration? I will share a quick decoration you can make in under ten minutes. I purchased the house plaque at my local Dollar Tree.  I knew I wanted a simple design. This design is perfect to add to any decor.

Craft materials such as floral cutters, faux floral, rub-on transfer, and house plague.

Materials

One house decoration plaque
Rub-on letter transfer
Twine
Floral
Hot glue
Scissors
Floral cutters

Adding rub-on transfer to house plaque

Begin by taking your rub-on transfers and adding them to your house decoration. I decided to go with the farmhouse transfer. I also added two of the leaf designs. When I apply my rub-on transfers I normally use an eraser on a pencil. This is something I prefer to do and I find it useful.

Next, you are now ready to add your floral and twine. I applied some hot glue when attaching my flowers to my house decoration. I had a few of my faux wildflowers on hand. I thought they would do perfectly with this design.

After, take your twine and begin to wrap the twine around the stems of your flowers. I started by wrapping the twine around once and then tying off the twine. Wrap your twine around until the bottom of your decoration is completely wrapped with the twine. I also added a little hot glue to keep my twine in place.
That completes your simple farmhouse decoration. I love how adding just a few materials can create a simple, cozy design. This is perfect for displaying on a shelf, or adding to a tiered tray. Let me know if you create your very own.

I'll see you all soon.
