Hi friends! I'm so happy that you decided to stop by. Today we're creating our second Christmas craft. If you haven't had the chance to check out the first Christmas craft I recently created, you can check it out here, DIY Christmas Mini Faux Window Decoration🎄🌟. Today we are creating a wooden ledge Christmas candle display. I'll provide a materials list below. If you're ready to create, let's begin!

Video tutorial

Materials

One scrap wood block
I am using a  9" x 3" wood fence picket section

Three wooden Christmas trees
I purchased these at Dollar Tree

Gold wire

Greenery or floral

Floral cutters or Scissors

Paintbrush

One small glass jar
I am reusing

Paint
white, green, and gold

Faux snow
purchased at Dollar Tree

Start by applying a few coats of white paint onto your wood board. When applying paint onto your board, be sure to paint the top, and around all four sides. I decided to not apply paint to the bottom of my board.  Allow your paint to completely dry.

Next, take your green paint, and apply your paint onto your wooden trees.

After, apply your gold paint onto each of the stars on your wooden trees.

Next, take your gold wire, and begin to wrap it around each tree. When doing this, take your wire, and start just below the star on your tree. Wrap your wire around each section of your tree. Once you get to the bottom of the tree, use your wire cutters, and cut the end of your wire. Take any remaining wire, and press it down onto the back of your tree. As an option, you can use some hot glue to glue down the wire that you have pressed down. Repeat this for each tree.

Now you are ready to begin attaching your trees onto your wood board. Take some hot glue and add it to the bottom section of each tree. Add each tree to the back section of your wood board. When you are done, each tree should be standing in an upright position.

Using your floral cutters, begin to cut your greenery. Once you have cut the floral, begin to add it onto your board using your hot glue.

Take your glass jar, and fill it halfway with your faux snow. Add your tealight candle in, and place your jar onto the middle of the board.

Your wooden ledge Christmas candle display is now complete, and ready to display. I love how easy this project was, and the only thing I purchased for this craft was the pack of wooden Christmas trees and the faux snow from my local Dollar Tree. I had everything else on hand. Thank you for stopping by! I'll see you soon.
