Dollar Tree Christmas Truck Hanging Decoration

Create a festive and budget-friendly Christmas truck hanging decoration using items from the Dollar Tree. This DIY project will add a charming touch to your holiday decor.

Here's a simple and quick Christmas craft using a Truck plaque from Dollar Tree. Follow the material list below and let's get started!

Video tutorial

Materials

One truck plaque- I purchased my truck plaque at Dollar Tree

Paint- I'm using red, black, and green acrylic paint

Faux greenery

Hot glue

Faux snow

Twine or craft rope

Optional

Christmas light stickers, or any holiday sticker design

Paintbrush

Start by taking your truck plaque and adding your red paint.

Next, take your black paint and begin to paint the wheels of your truck.
After, take your green paint and begin to paint the bed of your truck plaque.

I decided to add my Christmas sticker lights onto the front side of my truck just below the bed of the truck.

I used my scissors and cut the size needed to fit on my truck plaque.

After, take your greenery and add it onto your truck. Using hot glue, begin to attach your greenery. Flip your truck plaque over, and start adding your hot glue. Be sure to protect your fingers when adding your greenery over your hot glue.

After, take your hot glue and begin to apply a thin layer of your glue onto your truck, and add on your faux snow.

You are now ready to add your twine. Carefully flip your truck over. Take your scissors and cut a section of your twine off. After, take your hot glue and add it to the back of your truck. Your twine will be used for hanging your design.

Your design is complete. If you would like you can add a Christmas sticker just below the window on your truck design. I added one, and I think it looks adorable.

Thank you so much for stopping by, and creating with me. I'll see you soon!
