Dollar Tree Wood Crate Fall Decoration

Happy September! I hope that you all have been doing well. I'm excited to start decorating my porch for the arrival of Autumn. I recently created this simple Fall decoration using two smaller wood crates from Dollar Tree. I love that there are so many different ways to use wood crates. We are going to create a stacked design using wood crates. We will paint, and also add a few decorations to it.

Materials

Two wood crate boxes

Paint

Faux fall leaves

One wood word design

Two mini pumpkins

Paintbrush

Hot glue

Wood truck decoration

Start by adding paint to your two wooden crates. The main color I am using is acrylic paint. The color of this paint is called mineral.
Next, take your brown paint, and add a few random streaks to your box. I used my finger to gently rub in those painted spots.

After, take one of your boxes and apply a little hot glue onto the bottom of your box. Take your box and add it to the top of your second box. Be sure that when you add it set your box at an angle.

Take your paint, and apply it to your wood word decoration. After, set your decoration aside.

Next, take your fall leaves and begin to add them to your crates.

Next, add on your wood word decoration.

Next, take your wood truck decoration, and add that to the bottom crate.

All that is left is to add your pumpkins to the top crate.

Your Fall decoration is now complete! I love how simple this project was. You can also add faux mini hay bales to your decoration.  I hope that you have enjoyed this quick and easy craft.

Celebrate in Style: DIY Patriotic Napkin Rings

Hey everyone! I hope you're doing well. Today, I want to share an easy DIY project. We're going to make patriotic napkin rings using just a few materials. I usually find extra craft supplies in my craft bins because I often shop craft sales at the stores. I got the wooden stars and rings from my local Hobby Lobby store.
