Two Simple DIY Autumn Wreaths

Looking to add a touch of autumn to your home? Check out these two simple DIY autumn wreath ideas that you can make yourself. These crafts are perfect for embracing the season and adding a personalized touch to your decor.

Today we'll be creating two simple Autumn wreaths. This craft is simple, and when it is all done, it is beautiful to put on display.

Creating your Autumn tulle leaf wreath

Materials needed:

Two metal wire wreaths

Assorted Fall leaves

Two packs of Tulle

Twine

One pack of decorative pumpkins

Ribbon

Hot glue

Total cost: $8

Working with tulle

Start by taking your tulle and cutting it into a few sections. You will want to make sure that you cut enough to completely cover your metal wire wreath. I used two packages of tulle for this project.

 Once you have completed this step, take your tulle and bunch it up. I used a bunching technique, but you could also loop your tulle through your wreath and tie it off. 

 Once I bunched my tulle together,  I used twine to tie off the bottoms of my tulle. Next, you will take your hot glue nd glue your tulle together. I also added hot glue to the bottom of each tulle section and glued it to my metal wreath. 

Adding assorted leaves

Now you're ready to add some of your assorted leaves to your tulle. Take a few leaves, and place them where you would like.  When you have finished with that, take some of your twine, create a loop at the top section of your wreath, and tie it off. You are all done. It is now time to display your tulle leaf wreath.

Creating a bow and adding assorted leaves

First, start by creating your bow. I created a simple bow using my ribbon. 

Next,  take some of your assorted leaves and glue them to your wreath. Add in some yellow, red, and green leaves. Your pack of leaves should come with these colors.

After you have added your leaves, it's time to work on the pumpkins. Using scissors, remove the stick that is connected to your pumpkin. Once you have removed the sticks from your pumpkins, use some hot glue, a nd glue your pumpkins onto your wreath.

If you want to hang your wreath using twine, you can take some twine, loop it, and tie it off on the top section of your wreath. 

You're all done! You are ready to display your beautiful wreath.
