Crafting a Beautiful Spring Arch Window Decoration

Hello everyone! I am thrilled to share with you a simple project that I recently completed. I transformed my arch window, which had been used in a previous project, into a beautiful display for the Spring season. The floral decorations are stunning and can also be used as a Valentine's Day decoration. What's great about this project is that I was able to reuse materials from my previous projects. I hope this step-by-step guide will help you create your own work of art and give your space a refreshing makeover.

Crafting a Beautiful Spring Arch Window

Materials such as floral, stickers, sanding block and arch window decor
Materials:
Arch window decor (found at Dollar Tree, reusing from the previous project)
Acrylic paint
Artificial flowers
Decorative stickers
Sanding block (optional)
Paintbrush
Butterfly embellishments

Step 1: Sanding and applying acrylic paint

To start, take a sanding block and gently sand any paint residue from the previous craft project. My arch window decor was black when I bought it, but I had painted it white for the last project. For this new project, I decided to paint it with a lighter pink color. If your arch window decor is new, skip the sanding and start painting right away.

Step 2: Cutting and attaching flowers

Next, take your artificial flowers/foliage and cut them to size. Even if you have leftover flowers from another project, I suggest trimming them a little shorter for this project. Use floral cutters to remove the bottom wire sections. Once you've cut them to size, add them to the bottom section of the arch window.

Step 3: Adding decorative stickers and embellishments

Finally, take your decorative sticker and place it in the clipped section of the arch window design. If your arch window doesn't have a clip section, take a craft clothespin and attach it with a little adhesive. This way, you can still achieve the same look. After that, attach your butterfly embellishments to your arch window design.

That was an easy and fun makeover, right? I love how I was able to give my previous project a completely new look. You can display your new arch window decor on a mantel, tiered tray, or shelf to give it a fresh design theme. Once you've tried this project out, don't forget to let me know how it turned out for you. Thank you for joining me in this creative journey. I'll see you again soon!
