Easy Dollar Tree Décor Upgrade

Hello everyone. How are you all doing? We are expecting a snowstorm. I'll be sure to stay warm and cozy indoors. Today I am sharing a quick and easy upgrade project with you. We're taking on wooden decoration from Dollar Tree and transforming it. You can create this in under 15 minutes. If you're ready, let's begin creating.

Easy Dollar Tree Decor Upgrade Video Tutorial

Materials

One wooden decor with a metal clip
Decorative stickers
Faux floral
Hot glue
White acrylic paint
Floral cutters
Paintbrush

You can find the wooden decoration at Dollar Tree

Start by applying your white acrylic paint to your wooden decor. I applied around two coats of paint.

Next, take one of your decorative stickers and add it to the middle of your wooden decoration. I decided to add the home sticker that I purchased from Dollar Tree.

After, take your floral cutters and cut a few of your flowers from the main stem.
Take each flower that you previously cut and begin to glue them to the lower section of your wooden decoration. You will glue each of the flower sections on the back, and bottom of your wood decoration.

After gluing your floral, you can take any other decorative stickers and add them to your decoration. I ended up adding two birds to my decoration.

Lastly, take your floral cutters and cut just the top of your floral. I decided to use white flowers for this. After cutting just the top of the floral, take them and add them to the opening of the metal clip. This is completely optional. You can also add a photo to your metal clip.

I love how simple this was to decorate and upgrade a simple decor item from Dollar Tree. If you create your very own, I would love to hear about it. Be sure to let me know in the comments below, or just feel free and say hello. I love hearing from all of you. I'll see you all soon.
