Materials such as, Mod Podge, gems scissors, paper, scissors, and wooden trees

Here is a list of materials you will need to decorate your two wooden Christmas trees:

  • Two wooden Christmas trees were purchased at Dollar Tree
  • Two sheets of decorative craft paper
  • Twine
  • Mod Podge
  • Faux craft gems and pearls
  • Scissors
  • Hot glue
  • One paintbrush
  • Acrylic paint
  • Marker or pencil for tracing

Start by taking your pencil or marker and tracing out your Christmas tree. Flip your paper over set your tree over the paper and trace it out. Once you have traced out your tree, use scissors to cut out your traced shape. Repeat these steps when working with your second tree.

Next, use your paintbrush and begin to apply some onto your wood trees. I applied a layer onto my tree, and after I took my traced shape and placed it over the Mod Podge. Smooth out any lines as you gently press it down onto your Mod Podge surface. After doing so, take your Mod Podge and apply a layer over your decorative paper.

You are now ready to work with your twine. Take your twine and begin to wrap it around your trees. Start by wrapping your twine around the two sections of your tree. Wrap your twine, and glue your twine down using your hot glue. Repeat these steps on your second tree.

Once your twine is wrapped around, you can begin to add on your craft gems and faux pearls. Take your hot glue and apply a small amount onto your twine. Carefully add on your gems and your pearls.

After applying your gems and pearls, your wood trees are complete. This was such a simple way to dress up these wooden trees. I love that I was able to add my personal touch with a simple design, and each tree was $1.25.
I had all my other materials on hand. This craft is affordable and fun! You can also add some battery-operated lights to your trees.  I hope you all enjoyed creating this with me. Thank you so much for stopping by. I'll see you again soon.

Celebrate in Style: DIY Patriotic Napkin Rings

Hey everyone! I hope you're doing well. Today, I want to share an easy DIY project. We're going to make patriotic napkin rings using just a few materials. I usually find extra craft supplies in my craft bins because I often shop craft sales at the stores. I got the wooden stars and rings from my local Hobby Lobby store. The great thing about this project is that it's easy and quick. I'll provide you with a materials list and a step-by-step tutorial. Video tutorial Celebrate in Style: DIY Patriotic Napkin Rings Materials Acrylic paint  Gem strips (I'm using the gem strips from Dollar Tree)  E6000 or hot glue  Paintbrush  Wooden stars  Wood rings size 1.89in (4.8cm) Start by painting each of your wooden rings and stars.
