Creating a simple farmhouse metal house decoration.
Hi everyone! I hope that all is well. I've been having some fun creating a few simple crafts. Today I'm going to show you how to take one of the Dollar Tree metal house plaques and turn it into a cute farmhouse decoration. We're using just a few materials, my main materials were purchased from my local Dollar Tree store. The metal house plaque and pop-up sticker pack were both purchased from Dollar Tree. I had all of my other materials on hand.
Video tutorial
Materials
One metal house plaque
Pop-up sticker
Paint-I'm using Antique white and brown/espresso
One sponge brush
Twine
Scissors
Floral/greenery
Floral snips
Hot glue
Step 1: Applying acrylic paint to the house plaque
Start by taking your sponge brush, and applying your paint onto your metal house plaque. If you choose to do so, you can also apply paint to the back of your metal plaque. Allow it to fully dry.
Once dry, take your second paint, and apply it to the bottom wood stand.
Step 2: Adding the sticker design
Next, take your pop-up sticker, and add it to your metal house plaque. I decided to add a little hot glue onto the back of my sticker.
Step 3: Adding twine
After, take your twine, and begin to wrap it around the bottom of your metal house. First, take your twine, and tie it around the house. Once you have done this, begin to wrap your twin around, and add the desired amount of twine onto the bottom of your metal house. Using your scissors, cut off any remaining twine, and use your hot glue to glue down any of the extra twine.
Step 4: Adding floral
Begin to add your flowers, and greenery to the bottom section of your house. I used just a little hot glue and added my floral on both sides on the bottom.
Your metal house decoration is now complete. I love how simple this was to create, and I only spent a few dollars on materials. Thank you so much for stopping by, and creating with me. I'll see you soon.

Depending on how you want to display the items on your board, arrange the foliage around the edges. This will ensure enou...
