Simple Farmhouse Hanging Wall Décor

Create a charming farmhouse vibe in your home with this simple DIY tutorial on creating hanging wall décor. Transform your space with rustic charm and a touch of creativity.
Hello everyone! I hope that this week is treating you well. Today we're working on a simple creation. We are going to create a farmhouse hanging wall decoration. This craft is beginner-friendly, and we are actually taking a plastic bottle, and reusing it for this craft.

Video tutorial

Materials

One unfinished rectangle wood plaque

One plastic bottle- I'm reusing a plastic bottle

Paint- I'm using chalk paint, white, and mineral

Twine

One Paintbrush

Scissors

Floral snips

Faux floral

Hot glue

Begin by applying paint to your wood plaque. Once you have applied your paint, set it aside and allow it to dry.

Next, take your plastic bottle, and apply paint. You will need around two to three coats of paint.

Next, take your twine, and cut off a medium strand. Create a loop, and glue it onto the back of your wood plaque. This will be used for hanging up your decorations.

Take your twine, and wrap it around the top, and center of your plastic bottle. Using your hot glue, apply a thin layer as you wrap each strand of twine around. Take your scissors, and remove any extra twine that is left.

Next, take your plastic bottle, and apply hot glue onto the back side of your bottle. Attach your bottle to your wood plaque.

All that is left is to add in your floral pieces. Using your floral snips, cut your floral to the appropriate size. After, insert your floral into the inside of your plastic bottle. I added in a few gemstones just to weigh down my decoration a little.

Your wall décor is complete! I love how simple this craft was, and it did not take much time to create this decoration.  I hope that you enjoyed this simple craft. I'll see you all soon.

  5. How adorable is this compact and cute wall hanging! But the plastic bottle does it for me. It could even hang real flower buds!
