Fall Hanging Decoration

Hello everyone! I hope that you are doing well. Today we are creating a fall hanging decoration that can be displayed on your front door. You can actually display this in any space of your home.

Video tutorial

Materials

One rectangle wood hanging décor

One truck decoration

Paint

Paintbrush

assorted craft fall leaves

Craft sunflowers

Fall wood words

Twine

Hot glue

Start by applying paint to your truck decoration.  The main area on my truck is painted in a color called celery. I painted the wheels a color called milk jug. I then took black painted and painted around the outer section of the wheels. I used the color milk jug and added that to the truck's bed.  I used my espresso paint and added a few details to the bed of the truck.

Next, apply your espresso paint onto your hanging wood décor. I added just a little water to help thin out my paint. I added one coat of paint to my wood décor.

You are now ready to apply paint to your fall words.

Take your hanging wood décor and flip it over. Using your scissors cut a strand of your twine. Use hot glue and add your string to the back of your wood sign.

Add your sunflowers to your wood sign. I added some hot glue to the wire end and added them. Next, take your truck and add that over the sunflowers. It will look as though the sunflowers are on the inside of the truck bed peeking over.

You are now ready to add your word sign to your decoration.

You are now ready to add on your craft leaves.

Your Fall hanging decoration is now complete. I love how simple this was to create. It looks beautiful hung on a front door or added to Fall décor. I hope you enjoyed this simple autumn decoration. Be sure to let me know if you decide to create one too. I'll see you soon! --Thank you for stopping by and creating with me.
