Simple DIY Candleholder Leaf Centerpiece With Mini Lights.

Hello, and welcome! I’m excited to have you join me today for a creative and fun project that will add a beautiful touch to your home decor. We will be crafting a simple yet elegant candleholder leaf centerpiece adorned with shimmer lights. This centerpiece is perfect for any occasion, whether it's a dinner party, a cozy gathering, or just to brighten up your everyday living space. 

What I love about this project is its simplicity and the impact it can have on your decor. With just a few materials, you’ll be able to create a stunning piece that combines the natural beauty of leaves with the warm glow of candlelight. Materials Required

 

- Glass candleholder (found at Dollar Tree)

- Plate (found at Dollar Tree)

- LED candle (available at Michaels)

- Shimmer lights (available at Michaels)

- Greenery (purchased at Walmart)

 

**Total Cost: $15**

 

- Hot glue

- Wire cutters or scissors



Start by taking your candleholder and plate. Flip the plate so that the bottom side is facing up. 

 Next, apply hot glue around the top section of the candleholder. Once you've done this, turn the candleholder so that the glued side is facing down. Press the candleholder onto the plate, applying a little pressure to ensure it sticks. Set it aside and allow it to dry.

 

After that, take your wire cutters and cut the greenery from the main stem. You will be adding each piece to the outer edge of the plate. (You can place your LED candle in the center to help determine where to add the leaves around the plate.) I left some of the stems on each leaf, but you can either cut the stems off completely or leave them as is.




If you want to hide the stems, you can use leaves from any faux plant and add them to your arrangement. I had some extra eucalyptus leaves from a previous craft project, so I placed them over the stems. This step is optional, but it can help conceal the stems.

 

Once you have added the leaves to your plate, you can start incorporating your lights. Simply loop the lights around and under the leaves. That's it! Your DIY project is complete.

 

If you have any craft beads, you can string them onto some stretch cord or twine. I had some stretch cord and beads left from a prior project, so I added those around my candle.
