Fall Harvest Wreath

Harvest wreath with metal harvest sign, wooden pumpkins and a green bow.

 Hello September.

I hope that this month we are all treated well.

I hope that as each week passes, and we approach Fall, we gather all of our positive thoughts, and energy, and spread them amongst one another.

I recently worked on creating a fall harvest wreath, and I'd love it if you made one too!

It is beginner-friendly and very budget-friendly.

My materials for this came from Target. If you love the Target dollar spot, I'm sure you know about all the goodies you can find there.

Craft materials, wooden pumpkins, hot glue, wire wreath, ribbon

Let's dive in, and create this fall harvest wreath!

Materials

Metal ring wreath

Metal harvest sign

Felt leaves

Craft pom poms -optional

paint

wooden pumpkins (3)

ribbon

hot glue

twine

Total cost $7

Start by taking your metal harvest sign, and applying paint. For this, I was using red color paint. You will need around three coats of paint. Once you have done this step, set your sign aside and allow it to fully dry.

Next, take your metal ring, and lay out your ribbon. Place your metal ring on top of the ribbon, and cut to size. You will then take the ends of your ribbon and fold it over the metal ring. Apply glue to the ends as you fold them over the ring. Your ribbon should now be going across your metal ring.

You're ready to begin painting your pumpkins. For this, I used orange for my pumpkins, and gold paint to outline my pumpkins. We'll also apply some gold paint over the harvest sign.

Once everything is dry, you can add your pumpkins, felt leaves, and pom poms to your ring. You can now glue your harvest sign over your ribbon in the middle.

Take some of your ribbons and create a bow. In the middle of my bow, I went ahead and wrapped some twine around. Be sure to add some extra glue when gluing your bow to your metal ring.

When you are all done gluing your pumpkins, leaves, and sign, you can now tie off some twine just above the bow. Take some twine, loop it, and tie off the ends.

Now you are ready to hang your wreath.

The moss added softness and helped anchor the colorful...

Using a small, pointed-tip brush, I carefully reached all the tiny areas around the leaves and buds. I applied three coats of black paint, drying each layer with my heat tool. This step creates a clean, even surface and helps the top colors stand out beautifully. Next, I used a light green paint t...
