Easy Succulent Planter Crafts

DIY Succulent Planter Crafts

This craft is so easy to create, and it is beautiful in any space.

Craft materials such as faux succulents, ceramic bowl, craft rocks, and gold letter stickers

Succulent Bowl Planter

Materials needed:

1 Bowl
3 Succulent plants
Decorative rocks
Decorative stones
1 sheet of Adhesive pearl wrap
Assorted letters (with sticky backing)
All of my materials were picked up at my local Dollar Tree

Total cost around $8

Creating your design

Start off with your adhesive pearl wrap. I cut out three strands to go around my bowl. Depending on the size of your bowl, you may need more or less.
Wrap your pearl wrap around your bowl.  After you have done this, you are now ready to apply your letters to your bowl. I decided to spell out the word Love, but you can put just about anything in your bowl.
After you have done this, make sure to add in some of your decorative rocks. Next, arrange each succulent into your bowl, and after adding some of your decorative stones.
It really is that simple, and  I love how it turned out.

Succulent Wooden Boxes

Craft materials such as mini wood signs, craft foam blocks, paintbrush and square wooden boxes

These planter boxes were so fun to create, and there are so many ideas that go along with these fun planter boxes, I'll be sure to share those at the end.

Materials needed:

2 Succulent plants
Chalkboard wooden stakes
2 Wooden square boxes
(Styrofoam)
*Decorative rocks, or stones, from a previous craft
paint
paint brush
and water

Total cost around $10

Two square wooden boxes with succulents on a bathroom counter

Close-up of square box with succulent

Start off with painting your succulent boxes. I combined two paint colors for my boxes.  Allow your paint to completely dry. Next, take your wooden chalkboard stakes, and using some scissors, carefully remove the sticker on the back. Using some chalk you can write a little message on the chalkboard. Using hot glue, apply your chalkboard piece to your box.
If you have Styrofoam on hand, use this to hold your succulents in place. If not, you can always use more decorative, rocks, and stones.
You're all done! Now you can display wooden planter boxes.

A few fun ideas for these boxes

-A gift for a teacher.
The first day, or last day of school
-Table centerpiece at a garden event, or wedding
-Display on a floating shelf
-Give as a gift to someone who adores succulents
